Chicago Park District
Electric bills
$14.8 million
Exact amount: $14,805,112.00
FY2026
No usage by park is published. The budget book gives the change instead: electricity is up $823,000 from 2025 (the two budget lines differ by $823,180) because of more data centers in the state and higher delivery rates. A hedging plan saves about $1.5 million a year on the electricity commodity price, and the District buys renewable energy credits equal to 100 percent of its electricity use.
This is the electric bill for all the parks, paid to a few power companies, and the public list does not show each park.
